Mr./Ms. Buyer,

Before we submit our quote on solicitation SPE8E5-27-Q-0023 (NSN , QUANTITY I=
TEMS TOTAL, quantity None , quotes due 11/05/2026) we would like to confirm a=
few points that the solicitation does not state. We are not asking for a wai=
ver - we intend to quote in full compliance.

QUESTIONS
  1. The solicitation does not state a manufacturer part number. What part nu=
mber, if any, must appear in the MIL-STD-129 part-number field on unit and ex=
terior packs?
(Markings must not carry an invented part number; the award may specify =
one.)
  2. First-article approval/testing is not called out in this RFQ. Confirm wh=
ether the resulting award adds a first-article requirement, and if so what sa=
mple size and test set apply.
(A first-article requirement changes both lead time and price.)
